Yoebe Hollestelle

From the moment he picked up his uncle’s electric guitar at age six, Yoebe knew he wanted to be a guitarist.

At just fourteen, he shared the stage with Joe Satriani and Gene Simmons, and performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival. He studied at the High School for Music and Dance (the preparatory program for Codarts Conservatory), where he later earned his Bachelor’s degree in Pop Guitar. This year, he began his Master’s program at Codarts.

Yoebe performs in several projects, including Romanza Brava (the continuation of Herman Brood & His Wild Romance), his own fusion band “YOEBE”, the Toto Tribute “Tales of Toto”, and Juan van Emmerloot’s “G30″ project. He has also played internationally, including performances in Paris with the Scott Henderson Band.

His teachers and influences include Scott Henderson, Leendert Haaksma, Age Kat, Menno Gootjes, Martijn van Agt, Leif de Leeuw, Stef Delbaere and Maxim Slock.
